  • We offer two levels of screening: level one is included as standard and consists of a health check, fitness screening and body measurement to enable us to monitor your progress (all results are confidential). If you are a complete beginner or you have any medical or functional issues we advise you to pay a little extra and undergo a more in depth screening where we can also look at your movement. We can then give you additional advice, support and corrective exercises to do at home to compliment the training sessions

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), also called high-intensity intermittent exercise (HIIE) or sprint interval training (SIT), is an enhanced form of interval training, an exercise strategy alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. This type of training burns more fat in less time as is gets your heart rate up and maintains it throughout the session. Many studies show that the body’s need for oxygen increases during a high intensity workout, therefore creating an oxygen shortage. This then causes the body to ask for more oxygen during the recovery period. Excess Post Oxygen Consumption or EPOC is the after-burn effect and the reason why intense exercise will burn more fat and calories than aerobic and steady-state workouts. All classes take place inside our privet exercise studio equipped with the latest training equipment. We also have outside space on artificial grass that is perfect for all weather and allows us the option of training outside when needed. You will be exercising in small groups (up to 6 people per class) with like-minded people, supporting each other, working as a team whilst having fun and most importantly burning fat, toning muscles and becoming fitter and healthier than ever before. All our sessions are structured and progression is built into the program so every week you will progress through the different levels of the program to suit your fitness level.
Your current fitness level doesn’t matter because every exercise has an easier, intermediate and advanced option to allow for complete beginners to more experienced exercisers. We also have specific starting dates for beginners so they start the program at the right level for them.
A huge variety of exercises to work the body in a functional way using a mixture of exercise tools. Some examples include: body weight, resistance equipment, resistance bands, Kettle Bells, sand bags, aqua bags, SAQ (Speed, Agility and Quickness) and battling ropes all extremely effective at burning fat and keeping all sessions fun.
All our classes take place inside our fully equipped studio, We also have the option to combine indoor and outdoor training as we have access to a private outdoor AstroTurf surface. This allows us to add elements of outside training to the classes when needed.
Lots of water, a towel and an exercise mat (optional). More information on training clothing will be given to you in your welcome pack.
Research shows that the best way to burn body fat is to do high intensity interval training for no longer than 45 mins. This will turn your body into a fat burning machine for up to 36 hours after the session. Because this form of training is very demanding on the body every 4-6 weeks we have a active rest period to allow the body to recover. Please remember that our system allows complete beginners to build up to this level of intensity over a number of weeks. We want you to get results but we also want you to be safe.
